As the keyboardist for the legendary Boston band and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, The Cars, Greg Hawkes forged the sound of rock’s New Wave. Pioneering and pushing the limits of technology and sequencing in the late '70s and through the '80s, Greg cemented the synthesizer's place in rock and pop music, and his contribution has influenced countless artists since. Along with achieving Rock & Roll Hall of Fame status and massive commercial success with The Cars, Greg has been a sought-after session and touring musician, and has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren, and The Turtles. 

In 2016, Greg collaborated with the acclaimed Boston band Eddie Japan to produce their 2017 album Golden Age. This eventually led to Greg and the band joining forces to create a night of music by The Cars featuring a set list curated by Greg. Since 2019, Greg Hawkes with Eddie Japan Performing the Music of The Cars has been thrilling audiences across the Northeast with an energetic show that includes hits and deeper cuts from The Cars songbook, along with special selections relating to Greg’s amazing musical career.

Once an Outlaw is the Southern Rock Supergroup featuring Chris Anderson (formerly The Outlaws), Chris Hicks (Marshall Tucker Band), and Tim Archibald, (Michael McDonald). Mike Kach (The Dickie Betts Band), A.J. Vallee (The Southern Rock All-Stars), and Chuck Farrell (James Montgomery). These southern rock legends are giants in their own right. 

Chris “Hitman” Hicks, a member of the Outlaws from 1989-1996 when the group disbanded, then joined The Marshall Tucker Band, Chris is currently the lead guitar player for The Marshall Tucker Band. He has also played with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, and Greg Allman to name just a few. 

Chris Anderson, an Outlaw member from 1986-1989 and 2005-2018, has had many successes with bands such as Blackhawk, Grinderswitch, and his own band Rattlebone. Other accolades include writing songs, touring, or playing with The Allman Brothers, Lucinda Williams, Bad Company, Hank Williams Jr, and many more.

Tim Archibald is currently working with Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers and Barry Goudreau's Engine Room. Some of his accolades include New Man, Peter Wolf, RTZ, Ernie And The Automatics, and Deep Purple.

Mike Kach, Southern rock fans might recognize Mike from The Dickie Betts Band, Great Southern.. You can also catch Mike with an Allman Revival. 

Hailing from Boston, drummer A.J. Vallee is the go-to drummer and percussionist on many platforms. To date, he has toured regionally and nationally with One Night of Queen, James Montgomery, The Southern Rock All-Stars (feat members of Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot) Jon Butcher, Carmen, and Camille (Billboard, MTV’s The Hills) and boasts song placements on NBC and ABC T.V. with Boston’s own Starr Faithfull.

The one who brought this all together is Chuck Farrell. Chuck, like AJ, is a local New England favorite. Chuck and AJ have both been members of The Peacheaters an Allman Brothers Experience, and they can often be seen on stage with the likes of James Montgomery, Barry Goudreau, and Jon Butcher. Some of Chuck Farrell's other ventures include musicians Al Hospers, a former member of Blood Sweat and Tears, and Chris Vitarello of the Butch Trucks Band.  

Once an Outlaw is a supergroup with a whole lot of talent packed onto one stage.

Charlie Farren got his big break in the early 80's when he was offered the front man position in the Joe Perry Project. They had some commercial success with East Coast/West Coast and I've got the Rock and Rolls Again. 

His big break came with MTV super group Farrenhite. Their hit Fool in Love landed them tours supporting Boston, Aerosmith, J Giles to name a few. 

The height was 1987 Texas Jam where they performed to 80 thousand 

The past several years Farren has been a one man opener for REO Speedwagon, Styx and Blood Sweat and Tears

Maxx Explosion was inevitable.

Connecticut simply wasn't big enough to keep three of the hard rock world’s most formidable forces apart. The cosmic collision happened in 2001 while recording with metal icon Mike Vescera, eventually leading all three virtuosos into the ranks of melodic rock juggernaut House of Lords. But it was a legendary soundcheck in Budapest, Hungary—where bassist Chris McCarvill stepped up to the mic—that sparked a realization: together, as a trio, they possessed a lethal chemistry that couldn't be contained.

Formed formally in 2012 to be New England’s hottest cover band, Maxx Explosion quickly evolved into a world-class creative outlet for original music instead. Whitesnake's Joel Hoekstra and Devil City Angels' Brandon Gibbs have joined forces to form a powerhouse acoustic duo, playing limited dates in between working with their many other successful projects. Their live duo performances are both intimate and high-energy, featuring a wide variety of material from bands that each of them has been a part of, along with innovative original music, and great stories from their respective careers. The energy and stage presence that radiates from these two make this a "must see" show. Their mix of song choices leaves the audience begging for more as there is literally something for everyone. Both Brandon and Joel have a long history of bands they have either been a part of or performed with including Whitesnake, Devil City Angels, Poison, Night Ranger, Cher, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra to name only a few. Unforgettable Fire is the USA’s longest running and most authentic tribute to U2. The band strives to present a truly authentic U2 experience, both sonically and visually, doing everything in their power (from wardrobe to lighting) to create the live U2 concert setting for their audiences. The members of UF are also very dedicated fans of U2, and will not settle for anything less than complete authenticity.

In 2015, U2 members The Edge and Adam Clayton crashed Unforgettable Fire’s show at The Cutting Room in New York City. They joined UF onstage for a very special surprise performance together to the joy and surprise of the audience. Adam Clayton and The Edge performed two songs with Unforgettable Fire; “Out Of Control” and “Where The Streets Have No Name”. Press from around the world, including Rolling Stone Magazine reported on that very special U2 and UF performance together.

2021 brought new worldwide exposure for the band, including an episode of JEOPARDY!, in which Unforgettable Fire were featured as a question, in a category titled ‘Tribute Bands’. In October 2021 Unforgettable Fire were featured & appeared on the series premiere of “Clash of The Cover Bands” on ‘E!’ Network, executive produced by Jimmy Fallon, with judges Adam Lambert, Meghan Trainor, and Ester Dean. UF won their episode with much praise and acclaim from the celebrity judges.

One of UF's last founding members from 1995, drummer George (Larry) Levesanos, still performs with the band. George is a veteran drummer on the New York City music scene and has performed in many other projects before forming UF. Joining the band in the summer of 2001 was singer Tony (Bono) Russo. Over the years, Tony has brought UF to a new level of authenticity as he is regarded as one of the country's top Bono look-a-likes. In late 2002, bassist Craig (Adam) Kiell added his top notch musicianship, experience, and stage presence to the band and has been a crucial part of the solid rhythm section ever since. Late 2004 brought Mick (Edge) Normoyle to the band to complete the last piece of its puzzle in its quest to have the truest, most authentic live U2 sound. All four members of UF are talented musicians in their own right, but together they are committed to bring their audiences the best possible U2 show that they can deliver.
